The support continues to grow for the Campaign to Change Lansing. Our third successful
fund-raiser was held at the beautiful home of Lori and Charles Murphy. As with our prior events, Teri Nallamothu did a great
job of organizing and coordinating the event. The event sponsers included Charles Murphy, Tim Mullins and Wally Long.
We again surpassed our expectations for turn-out and support; including the appearance and supportive remarks of current
State Representative John Stakoe. Many thanks go out to the Lori and Chuck Murphy, Tim Mullins and Wally Long for their work
on another wonderful event.
Our
second fund-raiser occurred at the beautiful home of Marlene and Dr.Greg Mansour. Hosted by the Mansours and Jennifer and
Don Engle, the event was fully attended and raised over $6,000.00 for the campaign. This brings our fund-raising efforts
close to $20,000.00 without any Lansing special interest groups and the vast majority raised from citizens within the district. Special
thanks to Terri Nallamothu for the invitations and all who attended. Stay tune for future fund-raisers planned over the next
couple months.
Our first fund-raiser at the
home of Terri and Dr. Shivajee Nallamothu was a great success. Over 100 supporters responded and contributed to the "Campaign
for Change". The Nallamothus showed their generosity and support by opening up their beautiful home and giving freely
of their time. The kick-off to the campaign raised over $10,000.00 and put us in high gear for the campaign.
